"No commute. No crowds. Nothing physically demanding.
And yet by the end of the day, you're exhausted. Head pounding. Eyes strained. Somehow more drained than if you'd run a marathon.
Working from home removes a lot of stressors, but for some people, long hours on a screen can quietly push an already-overworked visual system past its limit.
When the eyes aren't aligned, the brain works harder to keep everything in focus. That extra effort builds up over hours of screen time, and it can show up as headaches, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, or just feeling completely wiped out.
It may not be your setup or posture. It may be that your eyes are working a lot harder than they should.
