Our coven has spent our summer rituals deep diving into the elements and connecting with the spirits that we call upon for them. This months was earth and after a weekend camping was the perfect way to ground the energies into my body. We use Oak, Tourmaline and Patchouli as our Earth allies. What are some of your favorite elemental allies to work with?

Received this in the mail earlier this week and thought it perfect for my gestation of the moon meditation on this lovely new moon. This philter smells amazing and brought some lovely insight to my working.

Today's intuitive painting. What a journey it has been to get to a place where i can just put brush to paper without worrying about what I am trying to make or how it will turn out. To make art to simply enjoy the process. Watercolors have been a lovely act of surrender lately for me and I am grateful for all they have to teach me.

🌕Associated with the Goddess Artemis (1 of the 300- 500 artemesia species!)

🌙The plant has strong associations with the moon, often mirrored in its physical appearance: the deeply lobed leaves are bright green on top and silver-white underneath.

💤 Known as an aid for astral projection and lucid dreaming, dried mugwort has historically been placed in "dream pillows" to encourage vivid, prophetic dreams and enhance dream recall.

🪖Fun fact! Roman soldiers lined their sandals with mugwort leaves to protect their feet against fatigue and cramps on long marches

🌿 Steeped in lore as a prime herb for women, it was traditionally used to soothe menstrual cramps, ease the pain of childbirth, and regulate cycles.

Freshly harvested and hung to dry for leaves and smoke bundles for teas and astral travel!

What better way to celebrate the summer solstice than with a beautiful sunflower wedding! I am always honored when asked to officiate a wedding. It's such a privilege to hold the space for couples on their big day. It was so great to watch family and friends come together and support each other. The love was palpable tonight! Blessed Litha!

Somehow I didn't get any pictures from this weekend but I am so grateful for the shared community that Pagan Picnic brings! I met so many amazing new humans and ran into quite a few familiar missed faces. Thankful to all that joined me for my class on grief magick! It always makes me happy when people want to come together and talk about the hard things!

We were so lucky to join the Missouri Mycological Society this morning for a foray at the new St. Louis Zoo WildCare Park and it did not disappoint! They were so welcoming and accommodating to me and my young daughter. We found so many different kinds and learned so much. We will definitely be signing up to become a member and joining more of these! This is just what we found! Nothing more magical than a mommy daughter morning in the forest looking for mushrooms!
