On Juneteenth, Lady Danni, a Philadelphia-based urban forager and herbal educator featured in The New York Times and National Geographic, will be sharing with us her breadth of knowledge on African American foodways, urban foraging, seasonal wild foods and the history and preparation of plants often considered weeds.

Featured ingredients may include pokeweed, berries and other seasonal foods, depending on what nature provides.

No experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn.

Participants will learn how to sew, use sewing machines, and create products for real-world use while building confidence and connections along the way.
