So much gratitude to Take Two Productions for supporting CHADS with their production of Dear Evan Hansen. Because of our community's support, last year we were able to educate over 60,000 kids on mental health, and what to do if they are having a tough time.

No Heat, All Treat
Easy Summer Kitchen Fun

Kitchen activities are a fun way for families to connect, set down the screen, and build confidence through creating something delicious.

What You Need:
• 1.5 cups of vanilla or plain Greek yogurt
• 1 cup of fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
• 1-2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup

How to Make It:
Mash & Mix: Have the kids lightly mash the berries in a bowl with a fork, then stir in the yogurt and honey.

Scoop: Let them spoon the mixture evenly into paper cups or popsicle molds.

Freeze: Pop a stick into the center of each one and freeze for 3–4 hours until solid.

Led by Peers. Built on Hope.

CHADS Hope Squad is more than a program—it’s a culture shift built entirely on connection.

We know that when young people are struggling, they don’t always seek out a counselor or a trusted adult first—they turn to their friends. That’s exactly why the CHADS Hope Squad is so powerful. Nominated by their peers, Hope Squad members are trained not to act as therapists, but to listen, recognize the signs of distress, and serve as the essential bridge connecting classmates to real help. Our lessons integrate age-appropriate su***de prevention topics at all levels from of elementary, middle, and high school.

By removing the barriers of meantal health stigma and fostering a community of empathy, these student leaders are actively creating safer, more compassionate spaces right where it matters most.

Let’s keep normalizing conversations around youth mental health.

We're grateful to be part of such an incredible network of organizations making a difference in our community! 💙

Our team members, Myles and Cate, recently attended the St. Louis County Children's Service Fund Partner Celebration event, where organizations receiving CSF funding came together to connect, celebrate, and learn from one another. It was inspiring to hear about the meaningful work happening across our community while building relationships with fellow nonprofits—all while enjoying some delicious snacks!

Thank you to Children's Service Fund for investing in organizations that are improving the lives and well-being of children and families. Together, we're making our community stronger. 💫

The Fastest Solo KATY Trail Ride to Benefit CHADS

This October 6–8, 2026, professional triathlete Levi Lucaks will take on an extraordinary challenge: riding the entire 240-mile KATY Trail in a single, uninterrupted effort to support youth mental health and su***de prevention. Supported by SBR Bikes & Brews, this ride is about more than endurance—it's about perseverance, hope, and showing up when the journey gets tough.

Every mile ridden helps raise awareness and funds for CHADS Coalition for Mental Health, whose mission is to save young lives through depression and su***de prevention programs.

Whether Levi sets a record or simply keeps moving forward, the message remains the same: perseverance matters. Mile after mile. 💙

Join us in supporting this incredible effort and helping make a difference for youth mental health.

Illuminating the Path for Youth

Crisis doesn't take a vacation, and neither does our mission. Sustainable, year-round support is what allows CHADS to provide reliable, individual therapy and school programs without interruption. The average cost for a school to implement our Signs of Suicide© program for one year is $2,600. By becoming an Illuminator, you have the chance to sponsor a school and light the way for hundreds of kids throughout the year.

When you join the Illuminators Giving Club, your monthly recurring gift provides a steady foundation of hope for families navigating adolescent depression. Just $27 a month can fund ongoing support sessions for a young ault in need.

Together, we are Illuminating the path for mental health.
