Charoite [K5Ca8(Si6O15)2(Si2O7)Si4O9(OH)•3(H2O)] - Charoite is a rare silicate, found only (so far) in Russia. It was discovered along the river banks of the Chara River in Eastern Siberia, whose name derives from the Russian word "chary", meaning "charms" (magic). It's beautiful swirling patterns are owed to its interlocking complex fibrous crystal structure. It will manifest in all sorts of purple/lavender/even pink colors, with recognizable swirls keeping you mesmerized for hours.

This week's lesson comes in the form of perseverance, and being so proud of when we get back up. Charoite is the best candidate in teaching this - it's origins in Eastern Siberia are the same as where prisoners would be sent during the time in the Russian empire when the system of penal labor called Katorga (ка́торга) was in place. Many times, these hard labor camps were filled with political prisoners - souls that have been told to be quiet and punished for speaking out against injustices (perceived or real).

The energy of this land lends Charoite the energy of perseverance, having come from what the land had experienced during Katorga. When holding Charoite, you tend to see your path a little clearer, and if not, at the very least you trust the next step.

So the meditation for this week centers on how we will all persevere. We have done it before, and will do it again. Our bodies might be tired, we certainly signed up to be here during a difficult time, but regardless of whatever your battle is, remember perseverance is key - just as how it is the fruit of the last sorrowful mystery, just as we have faced plenty together as a collective, we will always get back up. Center on your heart when you're working on this, and remind yourself that you are meant to do hard things.

Angel Aura Quartz (SiO2 + Pt) - This is a base of quartz (SiO2) that is coated by the element platinum (Pt) artificially through atomic v***r deposition. It starts with slowly heating up quartz to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit, and as the quartz sits in a vacuum, pure platinum v***rs are added to it, letting platinum molecules chemically bond to the surface of the quartz. The crystal is then slowly lowered in temperature again, making the bond permanent.

You might be wondering why anyone would want to do this, aside from getting the pretty colors. For those practicing with healing crystals, this helps the quartz radiate differently with the properties of the metal attached. Quartz is the amplifying stone, and in the case of platinum, it uplifts and gives you a sense of peace and serenity.

This stone was picked because it radiates and aligns you with the Platinum Ray with Archangel Metatron. It is used in cutting cords, in aura and chakra clearings and most importantly, after everything we have gone through, in getting rid of astral parasites and any unspoken contracts. How perfect for this moon cycle to finish sloughing off those things and people that have used you, that have attacked you with ulterior motives while you were trying to gather yourself?

As you look at this stone today and meditate, feel that same sensation you feel when you finally clutter clear your stuff. This time, it is your aura that is being cleared, and your life. At the same time, you will start to feel a deep peace, reminding you to know that all along, the angels have not gone anywhere and that you are able to finally radiate who you truly are.

Blue Chalcedony (SiO2) - When low-temperature, silica-rich waters permeate bedrock, microcrystalline fibrous structures of quartz occur, forming chalcedony (or any chalcedony or agate, really). You may notice a similarity to blue lace agate, but the difference between this and blue lace agate is that blue lace agate is comprised of multiple layers of chalcedony, whereas blue chalcedony solidified at a uniformed rate, thus not creating layers. The blue color is attributed to the interference of light between the individual microcrystals - this is known as ‘scattering’. Geologically speaking, the cool part about this is because of the difference in spacing between the crystals, the hardness can differ between specimens.

The light being scattered between these microcrystals impacts our energy field at just the right time. This is the stone of Mother Mary in the 3D. It is showing us how to have grace under pressure, courage when we are left with very little choice, and peace of mind when the world seems to be completely losing it around us. It is also connecting us to the angels through its light blue hue, which makes sense when you think about it since Mother Mary is considered the Queen of the Angels. Affecting the throat chakra, it gives us those words we so seek for when we need them the most, as well as reminding us that it is okay to speak up, you are safe to do so.

This, my dear readers, is one of the purest forms of love from the earth. Meditate with it, let the blue wave of energy wrap you up to help calm you and keep you safe during this time, and remember, settling your own energy will help those around you.

Crystal Wisdoms | Happy Friday and Eclipse Season!

Wow. This eclipse season is something else. This crystal surprised me, as I haven’t shown her on here in quite a while. I love it for what we are experiencing though. Sometimes we do need that iron curtain of Black Tourmaline within the magic of white moonstone to set who we leave in our lives straight.

White Moonstone with Black Tourmaline [(NaAlSi3O8 + KAlSi3O8) + (NaFe3Al6Si6O18(BO3)3(OH)3OH)] - As recently experienced a full moon, I figured it was time to get to know another goddess stone. Forming from layers of albite and orthoclase, this specimen happened to grow with a gap in the rock, letting hot, mineral-rich liquid seep in and form black tourmaline. This can usually be seen in areas with hydrothermal activity.

This is such an interesting combo. You see, there is white moonstone, representing the heavens, while black tourmaline comes in representing the earth. The white moonstone working towards your crown chakra while the black tourmaline works with your root chakra. To me, anyway, it feels very goddess-like - grounded to the earth but still able to work with the heavens.

This stone comes in to connect us to our dreams, those we hold so dear when we work with the lunar phases. As an added bonus, it brings in a protective layer in the form of black tourmaline, keeping our dreams and us safe from outside negative energies. As you work with it today, picture yourself in a beautiful moonlit aura that is impenetrable, working through those things you want to make happen as well as taking advantage of the energies to “let go” of that that no longer serves you. After all, it is making room for that which you wish to manifest into your life - embrace the decluttering aspect of the full moon energies.

The shape of the stone was done on purpose, so the energy radiates in all directions when you work with it. May you have a beautiful experience with this goddess energy in the 3D form.

Carnelian (SiO2 + Fe) - Born from parent rock of silicon (SiO2) origins being melted again by volcanic processes, this liquified rock is then poured into fissures and cavities, solidifying into something new, with new inclusions. In this case, iron (Fe), giving it this range of beautiful reds and oranges.

What better representation of breaking us down and building us up than carnelian? When we rise from the ashes, we come with a force to be reckoned with. This is the stone of the sacral chakra, bringing forth that courage and enthusiasm to make your goals a reality. During this time, I certainly wasn’t expecting this, but that is the beauty of today.

Meditate with this, feel that warmth in your sacral area, for your sacral chakra is letting you know it is time. Alleviate those old wounds, and let the blessings come forward.

Crystal Wisdoms | Happy Friday!

Today's stone came forward to help us with our pasts, I suspect something many people look forward to working on. But as much as looking in our past can be distracting and sometimes makes us want to stay in the past, healing it is crucial for moving forward in a healthy manner. Stromatolite came today to help us do exactly that. Here's to a wonderful future, and as always, I am here if you have any questions.

Stromatolite (CaCO3 + Fe2O3 +SiO2 + miscellaneous) - seeing as these are accretionary forms made by cyanobacteria (AKA blue-green algae), stromatolite's origins begin with the very beginnings of earth. Cyanobacteria are what were responsible for something called "The Great Oxidation Event" - the event that skyrocketed evolution of life on earth due to their use of photosynthesis. And this bacteria still exists, 2.4 billion years later. They will form layers seen here in this specimen, eventually forming a hard rock of mainly limestone with various other inclusions, depending on the location.

For the spiritual side, stromatolite focuses on not only the Earth Star and root chakras, but also the heart chakra. There is literature stating it works on aligning all of the chakras, but if you listen to it closely, you see this varies from person to person. The general consensus with it seems to be aligning the earth star and root chakras helps in one feeling at peace and balanced, something we will need during this lingering eclipse energy. This, in turn, could help with the other chakras.

One of the main focuses for this stone, however, is its connection to ancient healing, as in your past - may it be past lives, your past in this life, or your ancestral lineage. Stromatolite laser focuses on helping one understand any rough lessons, and to accept life and yourself with an open heart. Healing your past helps heal future lineages.

So as you meditate today, feel not only those roots at the bottom of your feet take firm hold into the earth, but also feel your past bubbling up to facilitate healing. With eclipse energy, this will be so helpful in lessening that chaotic feeling people typically sense.
