When a bigger suite became available at our north county office, we were excited about the possibility of being able to serve more people but knew there would be a lot of work to make it ready in time. People showed up and got it done and we cannot be more thankful

Faith and service communities have always been part of Avenues' story.

Volunteers from Riverside and One Family Church showed up with paintbrushes in hand.

Then the Brothers of Claude F. Wise #171 of the MWPHGL F&AM of MO helped make move in short, speedy, and efficient on a very warm day!

This project was a beautiful reminder of what's possible when we serve together.

We couldn't have done this without you. Over 30 volunteers showed up over two weeks, rolled up their sleeves, and turned our Ferguson office into a space clients will feel truly welcomed in.

Painting a room might seem small but it's one more way our community says "you matter" to the families who walk through our doors.

Big news from Avenues Counseling Center! 🎉

Our North County space at 409 S. Florissant Rd in Ferguson has a fresh new look - same address, bigger suite!

Thanks to several INCREDIBLE groups of volunteers, our walls are painted, our space feels warm and welcoming, and we can now serve twice as many people because we're 2x the size. That's double the hope and healing for our North County community. 💚

More to come this week as we thank the people who made it happen!

On Saturday, August 22, the Organization for Black Struggle and Williams & Associates are launching the Young Black Male Su***de Awareness Initiative to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and strengthen support for young Black men.

We encourage our community to learn more, share the resources, and help build a culture where every young Black man knows he is seen, valued, and supported.
