“Meet the Staff”

It’s time again to introduce you to another staff member. Our lead technician, Jennifer, has been with Eye Care Associates for almost eight years now. Asking her to share a little about herself, this is what she had to say.

“I have spent my entire life in St. Louis, living my childhood years nearby in Maplewood. I am a graduate of Maplewood-Richmond Heights high school and was fortunate enough to start with an Optometrist while I was in my senior year. I have remained within the eye care field for almost 27 years now, working in many sub-specialties of the eye from the front of the eye to the back. I have worked with contact lens, glaucoma, dry eye consultations, cataracts, and was even a retinal photographer for a few years. I have found a true love in my career path and couldn't imagine where I would be otherwise.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, creating art, and writing poetry. It has been years since I have written anything but I will still get the whim to create some random piece of art. I love movies but don't watch them as much as I used to.

I have a son in the Navy. A dog who needs to get a job and a cat who thinks he runs the house. To be honest, he kind of does....

I look forward to seeing you again or meeting you for the first time.”
