SSM Health is continuing its work to address food insecurity in the St. Louis region. SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – Lake Saint Louis and the St. Louis Area Foodbank are hosting a free fresh food distribution event Thursday, May 21, at 9 am to distribute free fresh food to residents in need. No pre-registration required.

National Hospital Week at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Fenton called for a backyard BBQ-style celebration with our incredible team. From great food to yard games and time spent together outside the hospital walls, it was a fun way to celebrate the people who make SSM Health St. Clare such a special place.

Thanks for everything you do to care for our patients — and for bringing the energy both inside and outside the hospital.

Older adults living alone in St. Louis have a unique resource in SSM Health's Visit-A-Bit program.

Visit-A-Bit helps address the loneliness gap for many older adults who are living alone by offering meaningful connections, volunteer support, and peer-to-peer interaction. Know someone who would like to join the program?

Our Healthcare Week celebration at SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis has been full of energy as team members enjoyed the employee BBQ, showed off their competitive spirit during relay races, and danced the day away at the dance party.

Moments like these are a reminder that behind the incredible care provided every day is an amazing team that knows how to support one another, have fun and celebrate together. Thank you to all our team members for everything you do for our patients and community each day!

Join us for an 8-week, in-person Bone Health Exercise & Education Class at SSM Health DePaul Hospital.

This program is designed for individuals who:
✔ Have experienced a bone fracture
✔ Have been diagnosed with weak bones or osteoporosis
✔ Are at risk of falling

You’ll learn simple, practical ways to build stronger bones, improve balance, and move with more confidence, all in a welcoming, supportive space with expert guidance.

May is Melanoma and Skin Cancer Awareness Month. The SSM Health SLUCare Department of Dermatology and SSM Health Cancer Care in partnership with the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), will offer free skin cancer screenings on Saturday, May 16, from 8am to noon.
