Calling all yoga teachers... This one's for you.
If restorative yoga is part of what you teach (or you want it to be?), this workshop is definitely one you want to make time for.
Cindy Kostecki has spent a decade studying and teaching restorative yoga, pranayama, and meditation, including doing training under Judith Hanson Lasater. If that name doesn't ring a bell, she's the one who brought restorative yoga to the west and literally wrote several books on it. Learning this practice from someone trained in that lineage is a completely different experience. The attention to detail, the why behind every prop placement, the presents it takes to actually hold space for someone else's rest.. That's what you will gain from this training.
Over 10 hours together, you'll dig into:
⭐ The philosophy and foundational principles behind restorative yoga
⭐ Nervous system regulation in the physiology of rest
⭐ Prop use, prop setup, and sequencing for different bodies and needs
⭐ Breath, language, and presence in guiding students into deep relaxation
⭐ Adapting your practice for different populations and formats
⭐ Hands-on teaching practice with real feedback
You'll practice, you'll teach, and you'll leave with the confidence to create the kind of nurturing space your students need and are craving.
Open to all yoga teachers, or even teachers in training. Certified yoga teachers with yoga alliance will receive 10 ceu credits. You'll also receive $10 off the Friday night restorative workshop that Cindy is holding so that you can experience the magic before you learn to teach it!
