🇮🇩Michael was the live surgery model for “Face with Nayak,” an intensive, three-day meeting held by Double T Academy and Dr tompi plastic surgeon

At this stage, he is between early and mature healing. There is still some mild swelling in his lower face, and the incision lines are still a little pink.

Both will resolve spontaneously over the next few months.

Michael’s weight remains stable, although many have asked him if he has lost weight. This is a very common effect of facial aging – a false appearance of heaviness.

Facelift drains vs tissue glue vs surgical netting: which one, when, and why?

(I should mention, I did not include pressure dressings or basic passive drains in this video. Neither one is as effective as the three options I present here, and pressure dressings in particular also often causing their own sets of issues including pressure sores, skin wrinkling, and delay in diagnosis when complications arise underneath them.)

Which of these three methods do you feel is best?

🤯It’s wild when you think about it.

My team and I arrived in Barcelona on November 20, 2025 to teach the current standard in deep plane facelifting.

Early that orning, while it was still dark outside, we walked into a hospital room and met Marga, our patient for the day.

For the first time ever.

She and I had never even spoken before.

She was chosen by the local surgeons hosting the Spanish Society of Facial Plastic Surgery () annual meeting.

She was very excited, but also understandably super nervous.

I am grateful she put her trust in me and my team, and very thankful for the staff of Clínica Sagrada Família for providing a safe environment to do the surgery.

While Marga was going to sleep, I gave a lecture on my techniques so that the surgeons watching at the meeting would understand what they were about to see happen in real time.

Marga’s facial rejuvenation included:

She is currently nine months postop, and took the time to send me a little update and some photos.
