🍎 Apple Week at Latitude Therapy!

This week, our Bridgeton Early Intervention learners explored, created, and practiced new skills through play. 🧃

Activities like these provide opportunities to build fine motor coordination, explore different textures, practice following directions, and develop communication skills.

At Latitude Therapy, learning doesn’t always happen at a table. Sometimes, it looks like scooping oatmeal, exploring something new, and having a little apple-themed fun along the way! 🍏💙

The field keeps evolving. Our approach should, too. 💙

At Latitude Therapy, we believe great clinical care requires more than experience. It requires curiosity, a willingness to challenge what we think we know, and a commitment to continually learning.

That's why Sierra Nichole, Assistant Clinic Director, and Samantha Fernandes, our Regional Clinic Director, recently attended the 21st Annual Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment Conference, joining professionals dedicated to advancing autism research and clinical practice.

For us, professional development isn't about checking a box. It's about bringing new knowledge and perspectives back to our teams, strengthening clinical practice, and continually improving how we support the individuals and families we serve.

Because the work we do matters too much for us to stop asking questions, stop learning, or assume we've learned all there is to know.

The standard isn't simply to provide care. It's to keep finding ways to provide better care.

That's the commitment we're building at Latitude. 🤞

A big thank you to Dreamflight Theatrical Gymnastics for joining us at Jaxson’s Steppin’ Into the Classroom Back-to-School Bash!

We loved having Dreamflight there to connect with families and share the unique opportunities they provide for children of all ages and abilities.

Dreamflight brings together gymnastics, dance, theatre, and writing in an interdisciplinary program designed to build confidence, recognize individual strengths, encourage creativity, and support both mind and body.

We’re so grateful to community partners like Dreamflight who share our passion for creating inclusive opportunities where every child can participate, grow, and shine.

A special thank you to Wiggles & Moore for joining us at Jaxson’s Steppin’ Into the Classroom Back-to-School Bash!

Wiggles & Moore brought an inclusive sensory experience to the event, giving kiddos a fun space to explore, create, and make their own stress balls. We loved seeing families stop by, get hands-on, and enjoy an activity designed with different sensory needs in mind.

Wiggles & Moore provides mobile inclusive sensory spaces and personalized support for children and families, and we’re so grateful they shared that support with our community.
