At Shero Imaging, we chose not to contract with insurance companies because we believe your healthcare decisions should be made between you and your doctor — not a corporation focused on profits.

Too often, insurance companies decide what care patients can or cannot receive, despite having no role in direct patient care. We believe women deserve care based on what is medically right for them, not what an insurance company is willing to approve.

By remaining outside of insurance contracts, were able to provide more personalized care, more time with patients, and access to advanced imaging without limitations placed on your healthcare.

We also do everything we can to help patients seek reimbursement by providing a detailed superbill after your visit.

Dense breast tissue is extremely common — nearly 50% of women have it. The challenge is that dense tissue can create a “masking effect” on a mammogram, making it harder to see abnormalities clearly — like trying to spot a cloud in a sky already full of clouds.
