Parenting is so hard. Let’s get that out of the way first. Next, parenting a child with developmental or cognitive delays is even harder: When will she talk? Is he going to be aggressive forever? Why won’t my child play with me?
The list goes on and on, and so does your own anxiety. You start spiraling. Going down rabbit holes reading about group homes and wondering “will my child ever be independent?”
The answer is this: It depends. On how you work on it TODAY and each and everyday. It’s not for the faint of heart. But you are tough stuff and so is your kiddo. 👏👏👏
