I love my job and enjoy the challenge of connecting with people of different backgrounds, gender, race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic levels. I have over 17 years and 17,000 hours of experience, with specific interests and training in couples therapy, depression, anxiety, stress, sleep issues, infertility, chronic health issues, and grief. I am also fluent in Spanish and write detailed psychosocial

evaluations for immigration cases. Regardless of the service provided, what I offer to my clients is a commitment to growth, wholeness, health and life-long development. I am constantly reading articles and books so I can have up-to-date information to incorporate into my life and work as a therapist, wife, parent, friend, daughter, sibling, and community member. I am especially interested in research on the brain and how we can utilize simple, evidence-based techniques to impact our neural circuitry, emotional regulation, physical health, and relationships. I impart to my clients what I have gleaned -- through both my successes and failures -- and help them apply it to their unique life situations.
