Three of our 2nd-year WashU Nephrology fellows, Drs. Jacob Lambertsen, Bibi Razak, and Meng Lee, joined the 2026 Nephrology Business Leadership University (NBLUniv) conference for a week of mentorship, leadership & a little Texas fun.

Congratulations to Dr. Sanjay Jain on being honored with the Mabel Dorn Reeder Distinguished Professorship in recognition of his remarkable impact on kidney research, education, and service.

Congratulations to Mabel L. Purkerson, MD, Professor Emerita of Medicine, Nephrology, who was honored by the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) as a 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.
For more than 40 years, Purkerson served WashU as a clinician, teacher, investigator, and administrator. She was a trailblazer in nephrology and was a founding member of Women in Nephrology organization. Read about her decades of leadership, discovery, and mentorship here:
