Our residents are hosting their families for a special Grandparents Day movie afternoon! They told us they wanted something from recent years that they haven’t seen before, and we had LOTS of votes for movies based on true stories!

We narrowed it down to these four choices, and now we’re asking YOU to help us choose the winner!

☀️ It’s a beautiful day to spend some time outside with friends!

And after a verrryyy competitive game of hockey 🏒😂, we’d say a little fresh air, sunshine, and relaxation was well deserved!

A little friendly competition followed by good conversation with good company — not a bad way to spend a Saturday at VIVA! 💜

🛍️💰 The VIVA Bingo Store is officially OPEN! 💰🛍️

Our residents have been busy winning and saving their Bingo Coins all month long, and today it was finally time to cash them in!

Thanks to our wonderful friends at Medi Home Health & Hospice, residents got to shop our very first Bingo Store, filled with goodies of all kinds. There was plenty of careful spending, bargain hunting, and excitement over what to take home! 🛒✨

A huge thank you to Medi for helping us turn all those Bingo wins into even more fun. We have a feeling our residents are going to be taking their Bingo Coins VERY seriously from now on! 😂💜

We kicked off our morning with a little exercise to get our bodies moving, followed by some friendly competition with our Kitty Dice game 🐱🎲 — all while taking advantage of this beautiful weather and enjoying some time outdoors!

🐾☀️ Dog Days of Summer is back for year TWO! ☀️🐾

Our 2nd Annual Dog Days of Summer brought plenty of puppy cuddles, wagging tails, and happy hearts to VIVA today! These precious pups from Squishy Face Crew Virginia are still looking for their forever homes — and they certainly made plenty of new friends while they were here. 🐶💕

We are so grateful to the incredible SFC team and their amazing volunteers for once again spending the day with us and bringing so much joy to our residents, families, and community.

Puppy love is pretty hard to beat! 🐾💜

💜 Happy National Senior Citizens Day!

We have loved the many opportunities we’ve had to bring generations together through our partnerships with students across Stafford County. From music and performances to visits, projects, and plenty of smiles, these connections bring so much joy to our residents — and we hope some wonderful memories for the students, too!

We’re grateful for every young person who has shared their time and talents with our community. Intergenerational friendships are something truly special! 💜
