🎯New vibes in the Target Baby section have me SO excited! Meet Lora from Tot Squad who is helping mamas and families feel so much more prepared to be parents!

Lora explained that Totsquad has specialists in 3 local Target stores (Fairfax, Stafford and Glen Allen) who are able to guide you through big purchases like strollers and carseats, deisgn your registries as well as set up a MomFund that helps moms (like you) gather comtributions from loved ones for a doula, a lactation counselor and all the people you need postpartum!

So wonderful to meet you, Lora and so great to have you as a resource in our community!

At my sister’s college graduation this weekend and little Gus man has been a trooper. Early wakeup for the ceremony made for an early nap and big crowds led to lots of comfort nursing. The graduation speaker shared a beautiful reminder for us all, but especially us mamas: “Remember who you are, have grace for yourself and for others.” Trying to practice all that on a busy weekend as a mama. I am in a different season and it will not last forever. It is okay when I can’t do all the things I used to do. It is enough. I am enough.

Also this neckscarf, I think I found a fav new accessory 😍

Birth is not linear though the drive to a birth is. 🚙 🛣️Many times for physiological births, especially first time mamas, there may be a lot of back and forth drives to their birth place.

This is so normal, it is nothing to fear or to make you feel like you are a burden. Babies and bodies need time to birth. If this is your experience, I’d love to hear about it 👇🏽

Day or night, no matter how many back and forths, the drive to a birth is my favorite thing and my brain autopilots on 95S to no matter where I’m trying to go. Luckily this time, it was actually for a birth 🤣
