Weekend dilemma solved. 😎

When you can't decide between soaking in the hot tub or spending time in the Yoga Trapeze...

Why not both?

One of my favorite things about having a portable aerial rig is the freedom to create movement spaces wherever inspiration strikes. This weekend, that happened to be next to the hot tub.

A little floating.
A little stretching.
A little soaking.

Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

If you've ever been curious about setting up a Yoga Trapeze at home, grab my free Aerial Rig Guide through the link in the comments (or send me a message and I'll point you in the right direction).

Would you choose the hot tub, the Yoga Trapeze, or both? 👇

Want your Yoga Trapeze to last?

Don't skip this simple maintenance step.

I wash my Yoga Trapeze every couple of months (or more often depending on use).

One question I get is:

"Can you throw the handles into the washer?"

Yep. I do.

I remove the carabiners and wash the handles along with the hammock on a gentle cycle.

For detergent, I typically use a gentle detergent pod, but ½ cup of white vinegar works well too.

A few tips:
✔ Remove the carabiners first
✔ Use a gentle cycle
✔ Air dry only

Keeping your equipment clean helps it stay fresh and ready for practice.

What’s your favorite laundry scent? 🌿🧺

Have you ever felt like you're doing all the right things... but the vitality is still missing?

You're exercising.
You're trying to eat well.
You're taking supplements.
You're doing your best to take care of yourself.

Yet your body still feels stiff, exhausted, puffy, overheated, tense, or just not quite like itself.

What if the issue isn't that you're doing the wrong things?

What if you're doing the right things for the wrong tissue state?

One of the most important things I've learned working with women in midlife is that not every symptom needs the same solution.

A body that feels dry and stiff needs something different than a body that feels bloated and stagnant.

A body that's running hot needs something different than a body that's depleted and cold.

That's why I created the Vitality Reset Quiz.

In just a few minutes, you'll discover your dominant tissue state and receive a personalized movement practice to help you start supporting your body in a way that makes sense for YOU.

Because feeling better isn't about pushing harder.

It's about understanding what your body is asking for.

✨ Take the Vitality Reset Quiz through the link in the comments.

I'd love to know—which describes how you've been feeling lately?

💧 Dry & Stiff
🌊 Puffy & Bloated
🔥 Hot & Overheated
❄️ Exhausted & Depleted
⚡ Tense & Tight
🌱 Weak & Unsupported

Have you ever seen someone practicing Yoga Trapeze and thought:

"That looks like so much fun... I wish I could do that."

And then immediately followed it with:

"I'm not strong enough."
"I'm not flexible enough."
"I'm too old."

I've heard all of these.

The truth is, most people don't hold themselves back because they lack strength or flexibility.

They hold themselves back because of stories they've been carrying for years.

Maybe someone once told you that you weren't athletic.
Maybe you had an uncomfortable experience in a fitness class.
Maybe you've spent so much time taking care of everyone else that investing in yourself feels unfamiliar.

After teaching people of different ages, body types, and fitness levels, I've learned that Yoga Trapeze isn't reserved for a certain kind of person.

It's for anyone willing to begin.

You don't need to be stronger first.
You don't need to be more flexible first.
You don't need to wait until the "perfect time."

You simply need to show up.

The strength, confidence, empowerment, and joy you're looking for are built through the practice—not before it.

If you've been curious about Yoga Trapeze but something has been holding you back, send me a message with the word TRAPEZE and I'll help you get started.

What's one thing you've always wanted to try but have been talking yourself out of?

The heaviest weight I've ever lifted was myself.

I wasn't always able to hold myself up in the air.

When I started aerial and Yoga Trapeze, I had to build strength gradually—through simple bodyweight conditioning, mobility work, and learning how to move more efficiently.

One of the things I love about Yoga Trapeze is that it combines strength, flexibility, fascia health, and recovery in a way that feels playful rather than punishing.

I've never been much of a gym person, but I've always loved movement. This practice allowed me to build strength without feeling like I was forcing myself through workouts I didn't enjoy.

Strength doesn't have to look one particular way.

Sometimes it starts with simply learning to trust your body a little more each day.

What’s one thing your body can do today that you couldn’t do 5 years ago?

If you'd like guidance on starting a Yoga Trapeze practice at home, send me a message with the word TRAPEZE.

✨ The Blue Moon whispered into your ear:
“You’re a star, my dear.”

Maybe you've been doubting yourself.
Maybe you've been playing small.
Maybe you've been so busy taking care of everyone else that you've forgotten your own light.

This is your reminder:
Just like the moon and the stars, your light is already part of who you are.

Today's yoga trapeze flow explores four star-inspired shapes with side stretches to create a little more space in the body and a little more expansion in the heart.

✨ Do you have a full moon ritual?

Rainy days are better in a hammock ☔️

Current rainy day priorities:
🐶 cuddle the dog
📖 read suspended in the air
🎶 sway to music dramatically
💻 attempt to work
🙃 hang upside down for absolutely no reason
😴 accidentally nap in the hammock

Honestly… this might be the ideal nervous system reset.

How are you spending the rainy day today?
