Halloween is next week! 🎃👻 Whether your family is heading out for trick-or-treating or celebrating at home, there are important precautions to follow to keep the holiday fun and safe for everyone.

When it comes to costumes, make sure to choose ones that fit properly and are easy to see in the dark. You can use reflective materials or glow sticks for better visibility. If your kids are trick-or-treating 🍭, remind them to stay on sidewalks and cross streets safely. Younger children should always have adult supervision.

It's also important to check candy for choking hazards, especially for younger kids, as well as ingredients that your kids might be allergic to. For more tips, check out this helpful guide.👇

Costumes, pumpkins, trick-or-treat tips and more! Here is a great list from the AAP for a healthy and safe Halloween.

Have you ever wondered why certain videos and posts keep appearing on your child’s social media feed? 📲

Social media algorithms recommend content based on what users watch, like, share, and interact with. Over time, this can expose children and teens to more of the same content, including posts that may negatively affect their mental health and well-being.

You can help your kids take more control of their feeds by encouraging them to unfollow accounts that make them uncomfortable and use tools to hide or report unwanted content. Check out this helpful guide on how you can manage social media content. 👇
