Carothers Funeral Home is proud to be an OFFICIAL TOYS FOR TOTS DROP-OFF SITE now through December.

We invite our community to join us in spreading holiday cheer by donating a new, unwrapped toy for a child in need. We have three donation boxes ready to be filled to the brim but we need YOUR help!

Every toy makes a difference, and together we can help bring smiles, joy, and Christmas magic to children in our community.

When the Season Changes, So Can Grief

As the seasons change, we’re often reminded that life continues to move forward. The changing colors, cooler mornings, familiar traditions, and approaching holidays can bring memories of someone we love to the surface.

Grief can feel different from one season to the next. Some days may bring comfort in treasured memories, while others may bring an unexpected ache for the person who is no longer here.

If this season feels difficult, be gentle with yourself. There is no schedule for grief, and there is no right or wrong way to remember someone you love.

Today, take a moment to honor their memory, embrace the people around you, and allow yourself to feel whatever this season brings.

You do not have to leave your loved one behind as life changes around you. Their memory can continue to be part of every season.
