🎶I love the s***k, energy and soaring spirit of young children. Their belief in themselves that they can tackle most anything is inspiring and also incredibly adorable. They put forth in singing, word and deed the assurance that they can do it! Our residents love their uplifting optimism and it rubs off on everyone who is present.
🎹Cultivating optimism is something we strive for at MBH. This important task, is the responsibility assumed by staff, administration, residents, and families of residents.
🎶In the past nine months when the students from the North Prairie Homeschool Fellowship, come to engage with the residents they are slide right on to the avenue of optimism. They have learned that each resident has been wonderfully made by God and that they are forever His.
🎹🎶They have engaged with our residents in bowling, horse shoes, ball toss, jump roping, puzzles, Valentine box making and more. The look on our residents faces during this performance tells so much.
🎹We can learn much from these students who believe that our residents even with many health changes are designed by God to continue His work in this world. When our residents put their hands together and pray...it is powerful.
🎶These images are from their spring concert which included show and tell, plenty of hymn singing and a hearty thank you, to Kris Hetzel and Pastor Erin Tormanen for their guidance throughout the year.
🎹We have been thrilled to journey with Kris Hetzel, Pastor Erin, the students and family members as they discover the potential of sharing the Good News in song, word and deed. We look forward to seeing another burst of optimism this fall when they resume their visiting schedule.
🎶Thank you, and have a beautiful summer.
