And the winner is... The Bowling Stones!🏅

The Rowntree Gardens community had an absolute blast during our week-long Wii Bowling Tournament. Our competition was undeniably a great time of fellowship, with 16 community members and 16 staff members to create 8 delightful teams for this fun friendly competition, while the rest gathered to watch in anticipation.

Bringing our entire community together truly brought in a week of strikes, cheers, and wonderful memories. We can't wait until next year!🎳

Take a look at the OC Register story on our Centenarians celebration!

Nine women and one man, ranging in age from 100 to 109, were celebrated at a gathering of Rowntree residents, staff and family members totaling about 200.

Our community members really enjoyed gathering for our Applepalooza, where we all tasted 9 different apple varieties to embrace the autumn season! It was very intriguing and delightful to taste these variations together — learning all about their individual traits, noticing the different flavors of each, and discussing our personal favorites amongst the bushel.

What an incredible day we had at Rowntree Gardens celebrating our 10 lovely centenarians! It was truly heartwarming to gather and celebrate such a monumental milestone for each individual, with so many friends and families joining us in honoring these incredible lives. It is a true blessing for us to provide a home where lives like these can continue to flourish with dignity. Here’s to many more years of celebrating life, love, and amazing legacies!

We want to thank everyone that celebrated with us, as your presence truly made the day special for these special community members. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Council on Aging - Southern California for providing gifts to each of our celebrants.

Preparedness is one of the many ways we care for our community.

Following our return from an unexpected evacuation this past May, the Rowntree team has continuously considered different meaningful ways to strengthen our emergency operations even further. This past week, we made an effort in supporting the preparedness by providing the community members with "Emergency To-Go bags" and filling them with each individual's core necessities. Working together to fill these bags with important essentials will help ensure everyone is readily equipped — should another emergency arise.
