UPDATE: Pine Tree Removal DAY 2

Now that day one is underway, the tree service has determined that additional time is needed to safely finish the project. Work will continue on Sunday.

A few things to keep in mind:
Parking
β€’ Parking will continue to be impacted, as spaces will remain blocked off to accommodate equipment and maintain a safe work zone.

Chapel Services
β€’ Sunday Chapel services will proceed as scheduled. Arnold and Roz will be on campus on Sunday if you need anything regarding Chapel Services.
β€’ Guests, residents, and community members may enter the Chapel through the main Chapel doors, GMC doors or the side entrance facing the parking lot.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding as we complete this important safety project. If you have any questions, please call 714-530-9100.

PINE TREE REMOVAL
We will have be removing the pine tree located near the Front Desk entrance by the Tour-Main parking area.
The tree removal is scheduled for this Saturday, July 18, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

To help ensure everyone's safety and minimize risk during the tree removal, there will be some changes to parking and the main entrance into administration.
Parking
β€’ Parking will be significantly impacted. Most of the front parking lot will be closed for equipment and safety.

Building Access
β€’ Because much of the Chapel courtyard will be closed, access to GMC and the main reception area will be limited.
β€’ GMC: The main entry gate will remain accessible, but entry will only be available through the doors closest to the chapel BBQ area or from the kitchen area parking.
β€’ Main Reception: Please use either:
o The north side entrance at the end of the administrative hallway (near Claudia L.'s and Veronica V.'s offices)β€”please note this is not a handicap friendly entrance or exit.
o The security entrance near D109 (need security key)
o Other entries into this area remain open and unaffected.

If you have any questions, please call 714-530-9100

Our Shuffleboard Tournament is off to an amazing start! The first two days have been full of friendly competition, laughter, and great teamwork as our community members and staff pair up on the courts. With cool lemonade, handheld fans, plenty of shade, and lots of cheering - we're truly making sweet summer memories, one match at a time.
We can't wait to see how the rest of the tournament unfolds this week! πŸ†

Thank you to the Huntington Beach Concert Band for a beautiful performance on our main courtyard this past Tuesday evening! From patriotic anthems to Disney classics, our community truly enjoyed hearing the 60-piece orchestra fill the courtyard with harmony.
