Patricia Geraldine Brewer, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at her home in Clay City, Kentucky, surrounded by her family. She was born on Tuesday, May 7, 1957, in Wi******er, Kentucky, to the late Earl Crabtree and Geraldine Crabtree. Patricia was a dedicated Kroger Associate known for her hard work and warm approach to customers. She loved immersing herself in legal fiction, particularly the gripping novels of John Grisham. Family was everything to Patricia, especially the joyous visits from her grandchildren, and she shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Miley. Baking brought her joy, and she often delighted her loved ones with homemade cookies and cakes. An avid gardener, Patricia nurtured both vegetables and flowers, taking pride in her thriving plants. Strong-willed yet soft-hearted, she was fun-loving and generous, with a deep-rooted faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that guided her life. In addition to her father, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Raymond Brewer; one daughter, Melissa Faye Bailey; and one sister, Cathy Jo Crabtree. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sons: Christopher Brewer of Chester, Virginia, Jamie (Lori) Feltner of Tennessee, and Max Ballard of Clay City, Kentucky; three daughters: Catherine Michelle Sparks of Clay City, Kentucky, Carine Brewer of Jackson, Michigan, and Brandi (Dallas) Winstead of Nashville, Tennessee; two brothers: Glen Crabtree and Charles Ray Crabtree, both of Clay City, Kentucky; four grandchildren: Christopher Smith, Thea Johnson, Logan Feltner, and Landon Feltner; and three great-grandchildren: Grace Johnson, Rowan Johnson, and Oliver Johnson. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Daniel Newell, will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M., immediately following visitation. Burial will be held at Roberts Cemetery in Stanton, Kentucky, with Charles Crabtree, Glen Crabtree, Tyler Crabtree, Joshua Crabtree, Chris Crabtree, and Kenny Riggs serving as active pallbearers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.

Estill "Eli" Campbell, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born on Tuesday, April 9, 1946, in Stanton, Kentucky, to the late Kelly Campbell and the late Bessie Boyd Campbell. Eli was a valued member of the Grounds and Safety Control team at Townsend Tree Service. A passionate musician, he filled his home with the soulful sounds of Bluegrass, skillfully playing both the guitar and mandolin. With a remarkable talent for mechanics, Eli loved working on cars and passing down his skills to his loved ones. His family was his heart; he cherished his roots in Powell County, frequently returning to spend time with his beloved siblings. Eli took great pride in his children and played a significant role in raising his grandchildren, eagerly teaching them to fish and share in outdoor adventures. His little black Chihuahua, Marley, was his loyal companion and brought him great joy. Known for his infectious humor, Eli had a gift for telling stories and cracking jokes, always striving to ensure his family felt loved and supported. In addition to his parents, Eli is preceded in death by one daughter, Melinda Jean Smith; six brothers: Eugene Campbell, Pierce Campbell, Ray Campbell, Herman Campbell, Hugh Campbell, and Arnold Campbell; and four sisters: Marie Elam, Pearlene Young, Jerlene Moore, and Irene Miller. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vernie Campbell of Nicholasville; one son: James Ray Stidham of Nicholasville; and two daughters: Tammy (Jeremy) Workman and Angela Byrd, both of Nicholasville; seven grandchildren: Christopher Byrd, Bryson Byrd, Eli Kelley, Logan Workman, Kaila Kidwell, Heather Bush, and Amber Bush; and nine great-grandchildren: Esme Anderson, Carl Anderson, Gideon Comer, Kaydence Kidwell, Layne Rotunda, David Kelley, Addy Kelley, Ivan Kelley, and Beau Deaton. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. James Campbell, will be held at the funeral home at 3:00 P.M. immediately following visitation. Burial will be held at Tin Town Cemetery in Stanton, Kentucky, with James Ray Stidham, Christopher Byrd, Bryson Byrd, Eli Kelley, Logan Workman, Russell Campbell, Ed Campbell, and Michael Houp serving as active pallbearers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
