One of my favorite new podcasts is by Mary Claire Haver, Unpaused. Dr Haver is an Ob/GYN who is now treating perimenopausal and menopausal women. There is a new podcast that was released discussing the use of testosterone in women. Her guest for this episode, Dr Khera, has been fascinating thus far and is easy to follow even if you aren't in the medical field.

It is almost time for school to start and summer to end. As we quietly roll into September, I wanted to put out a couple of administrative notes/clarifications for you all.
First, this Friday 04 September, I will out of the office. The office will be open 9:00-3:00P so please plan accordingly if you need anything.
Second, there appears to be a bit of confusion on what is happening with the clinic at the end of September. I will start this off by stating that I am NOT retiring…you all as stuck with me for a little while longer. We are moving the clinic to Arlington and with the move, it doesn’t make sense to keep the Stanwood name so we are renaming to Elevate Integrative Medicine. It appears that we will be able to keep the same phone number and that the transition for our online health record will also be seamless (I am keeping my fingers crossed). I do appreciate all of the notes to help support the move and I appreciate all of you that will continue to seek out our services. Hope everyone has a great week and a safe Labor Day weekend.

This is a quick administrative post. We will find the best way to disseminate the information for everyone but I wanted to make a post here as well. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, the Stanwood Clinic will be closing and we will be running a new clinic in Arlington. Our last clinical day in Stanwood will be 25 September 2026 and we will start seeing patients in Arlington on 29 September 2026. The clinic will be rebranding to Elevate Integrative Medicine and the new address will be 902 Maple ST Arlington WA 98223. It is our hopes that we can keep the same phone number. If not, we will make sure to post this as well. Thank you in advance for your continued support!

Well here we are in the middle of the August already. I have another great video to share with you all. As you know, I am typically a fan of Dr Yurth and her opinions on subjects such as ketone usage, hormones, mitochondrial health and peptides. Here is a quick (30 minute) YouTube session posted by Dr Yurth that is great! Take a listen!

What do peptides, ketones, methylene blue, and mitochondria all hav...

Many of us that are interested in using peptides responsibly have been waiting for the FDA advisory meeting which was 2 days last week. Here is the outcome of that meeting and what is next:
BREAKING NEWS - from Seeds Scientific Research.
JULY 24, 2026 - The Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) has completed its July session, voting on several peptide bulk drug substances for potential inclusion on the FDA’s 503A Bulks List.
Recommended FOR inclusion: (Yes-No)
• BPC-157 (8–6)
• KPV (8–6)
• TB-500 (8–6)
• MOTS-c (7–5)
• Epitalon (7–4)
• Semax (8–5)
Recommended AGAINST inclusion: (Yes-No)
• DSIP (6–7)

What happens next? These votes are advisory recommendations only. The FDA will now review the committee’s recommendations alongside the scientific record, public comments, and other regulatory considerations before making a final decision on whether these bulk drug substances will be included on the 503A Bulks List.

This post is a little delayed with respect to actually writing it. Many of you already know but I wanted to start to make a formal notice on the clinic. No later than 01 Oct 2026, the Stanwood office will be closing and we will be moving to another location in Arlington. It was a huge decision to make to move the office as I have felt like I was a part of the Stanwood community through you, my patients. The clinic will be rebranded as well and we will make sure that those of you that want to continue with our service know how to find us. It has been an amazing experiencing providing care for the Stanwood area and I hope that we continue to see you all at the new location Arlington. The address and phone number (if this can't be the same one you are use to) will be readily provided once all of the legal work is completed.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July as our country turned 250 years old. I wanted to share one more podcast with you all. Please note, preview before you just play this in front of any children. Dr Rachel Rubin was recently on the Diary of a CEO and she is one of most well spoken champions of HRT for women. Please take a listen.

There are several podcasts that I have seen lately that I think are worth sharing. This one is from Dr Peter Attia and he had a fascinating talk with Dr Tomioka about endometriosis. Please take a listen.

“If we diagnose an adolescent—or even young women—earlier, we can avoid 40% of the lesions or the disease burden.” —Renato Tomioka
