What an inspiration!
For a long time, you might have treated everyone's urgency as your own. Their crisis became your crisis. Their bad mood became something you had to fix immediately. Their poor planning became your emergency to solve on their timeline instead of yours.
Your mind can't tell the difference between real danger and borrowed panic if you keep absorbing both the same way. Every time you drop everything for someone else's chaos, your body responds like it's yours too, even when it never actually was.
Learning to separate the two is regulation, not coldness. You can still care deeply about someone without letting their emergency hijack your entire mind.
Practice this today. Let this be your Sunday reset. Feel the urgency rise, then ask yourself honestly whose emergency it actually is.
Send this to someone who's finally learning the difference between compassion and absorption. 🔐
