We had a great time at Starkville’s National Night Out last night!

National Night Out is a wonderful opportunity to bring neighbors, first responders, healthcare professionals, and local organizations together in support of a stronger and safer community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new ones throughout the evening. And a special shoutout to Corporal Kenya Bibbs for doing a fantastic job putting the event together; we truly appreciate all of her hard work in making the evening such a success!

Starkville Police Department, led by Chief Mark Ballard, and Starkville Fire Department recently completed training exercises focused on responding to high-pressure emergency situations.

Dr. Travis Methvin, director of Trauma at BMH-OC, and Trauma Program Manager, Kathleen Hilbun, participated by providing on-scene care and assessing simulated gunshot and injury victims. The training also included proper tourniquet application and lifesaving bleeding control techniques.

Two officers were presented with new tourniquets in recognition of their actions assisting trauma patients brought to BMH-OC. Their quick response and proper use of a tourniquet helped prevent life-threatening blood loss.

We are grateful for the dedication and teamwork of all agencies involved in keeping our community safe.

Our experienced team provides physician-referred infusion and injection therapies in a comfortable environment, helping patients receive the treatment they need without a hospital stay. Infusion therapy can be an effective way to deliver medications directly into the bloodstream, allowing for efficient treatment while being closely monitored by our nursing staff.

When you visit us, these are the caring professionals who will be with you every step of the way. To receive infusion therapy, a referral from your physician is required.
