One of the strangest things about cataracts is how easily the brain adjusts to them.
The lens usually clouds so slowly that colors can become duller for years without someone realizing it. Whites may take on a yellowish tint, blues lose some vibrancy, and rooms start needing more light.
A simple curiosity test: cover one eye, look at something colorful, then switch. If the brightness or color looks noticeably different between eyes, that’s useful information to mention to us!
