✨ July Employee of the Month ✨

We are so excited to celebrate Ari! ❤️ Ari has been a cherished part of the Natural Beginnings family for many years, and we are incredibly grateful for the compassion, dedication,heart, and ORGANIZATION she brings to our team and the families we serve.

“Feeling so thankful and humbled to be named July’s Employee of the Month! ❤️

As I approach 11 years with this amazing team, I’m reminded of how grateful I am to do work that I truly love. Recently, I also had the privilege of assisting in the delivery of my 300th baby (not including the countless others that I have assisted during labor or shortly after)—a milestone that fills my heart with gratitude and reminds me why I chose this profession.

Nursing isn’t always easy, but being trusted to care for growing families during one of the most important moments of their lives is an incredible honor. Thank you to my coworkers, leadership, and the families who have allowed me to be part of their journey. Your support, trust, and encouragement mean more than you know.

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me binge-watching TV shows with my husband, Torian, and our son, Jordin; cuddling with our dogs, Riley and Kylo Ren; getting lost in a good book; or working on my latest craft project. During wrestling season, you’ll always find me cheering Jordin on from the sidelines.

I’m beyond grateful for this recognition and look forward to continuing to serve our community with compassion, dedication, and love. Thank you for this incredible honor! 💕”

What a day! 💜

Our hearts are so full after celebrating 15 years of Natural Beginnings Birth & Wellness Center with so many incredible families, vendors, and friends. Seeing so many NB babies and kids, some now all grown up, was such a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing vendors for helping make the day so special, and to every family who came out to celebrate with us. We loved seeing all of you!

And to our incredible team…thank you. Your hearts, dedication, and love for this community are what make Natural Beginnings so special.

New Country Family Chiropractic

New Country Family Chiropractic has been serving Statesville and
surrounding areas since July of 2024, but graduated and began practicing
in June of 2021 in Wilkes County. Dr. Andrew Crews opened Statesville’s
first Gonstead chiropractic clinic which focuses on a highly specific method
that identifies the one or two segments that are actually causing the issue
rather than making general corrections. This helps create better long-term
stability, improved function, and fewer unnecessary adjustments.
Andrew and wife Jaden spent the first year building New Country Family
Chiropractic while also growing their family. Valuing a holistic approach to
health and pregnancy, they received prenatal care from Natural Beginnings
and welcomed their daughter at the birth center in September of 2024. This
led Dr. Crews on a journey to include specific prenatal chiropractic care
utilizing the Webster Technique as well as infant care through a gentle
Gonstead approach.
New Country Family Chiropractic is here to serve you in all stages of life.
Whether someone has a recent injury, long-standing pain, or just wants

Crossroads Care Clinic
Crossroads Care Clinic

Crossroads Care Clinic provides free and confidential pregnancy services, including pregnancy testing and limited obstetrical ultrasounds. We also offer education, support, and practical assistance through our Earn While You Learn (EWYL) program. Participants complete parenting and life-skills lessons to earn points that can be used in our Baby Boutique for items such as diapers, wipes, clothing, and other baby essentials. Moms can participate from the time they discover they are pregnant until their child turns two years old, allowing us to walk alongside them throughout pregnancy and the early years of parenting.

Midwife Lauren Cox had the honor of helping welcome this sweet little guy into the world. His wonderful family even surprised Lauren and our team with a trophy to celebrate this milestone, we absolutely love it!

Reaching 4,000 babies is more than a number. It’s 4,000 stories, 4,000 families, and countless moments we’ll cherish forever.

Brooke Hickman
Founded in 2017 by owner Brooke, Lake Norman Doula was created from the belief that every family deserves compassionate, evidence-based support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. With a background in Exercise Science and Ministry, Brooke discovered after becoming a mother that her passion for birth and advocacy beautifully combined with her desire to serve others as a doula.

Joining her is Nicole, an experienced birth doula whose Latin American heritage and passion for honoring all birthing people bring a unique perspective to the team. She incorporates traditional Indigenous techniques while providing personalized, culturally respectful care to the families she serves.

Together, our mission is to help families feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their birth journey. We believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and confident as they welcome their baby.

Lake Norman Doula offers birth doula services, birth photography, placenta encapsulation, prenatal personal training, and postpartum belly binding.
