What a fun night at RU last night. We had a night of food, fellowship and fun! A great cookout, lots of people to fellowship with and fun games of Connect Four and Corn Hole. We had some great competition! Congrats to Glen & Joy for winning the Corn Hole tournament and to Michele for winning the Connect Four tournament!
This Memorial Day we remember and are grateful to our military, especially those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
But most of all we are thankful to Jesus who paid the biggest sacrifice of them all to save us!
Thank you Jesus!

Wow! What a night tonight at RU! We really had some good connections in second talk tonight. Just a reminder, you don’t need to fix yourself before you come to God. In fact, you can’t. Come to Him and let Him restore you! At RU you will be surrounded by godly people who want to see you be the best you that God has planned. We are here to encourage and pray for you. We aren’t like other recovery programs. We know that a relationship with Jesus will bring true restoration. Come see us next week at 7pm. After all, it’s the best place to be on a Friday night!

We are going through the fruits of the spirit in our third talk. Tonight we talked about faith.
Faith is a personal measurement of the level of confidence in what Christ has done and will do in, through and for us.
We gain more faith as we yield to the measure of faith that we already have living within us.
Your growth faith will bring more power from God- not because you know more about Him but because you know Him.
What has God done for you? What will he do for you in the future? Do you have faith that He will take care of you in your future?
“I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” Galatians 2:20

Our men’s second talk from last night’s meeting. What an encouraging place to help share struggles you’ve faced throughout the week. We discussed Principle 2, every sin has its origin in our heart. Those struggles we face start in our hearts. Reach out to a brother or sister this week for help overcoming that ‘stinkin thinking’.

We encourage you to join us on Sunday morning for Sunday school and service. We have an awesome RU Sunday school class where we share and encourage and most of all grow in our knowledge of the Word and our relationship with Jesus. Come see us next Sunday morning at 9:30!

Last night RU Statham celebrated the new year with fellowship and games. This has become a yearly tradition and it was so fun! Thankful for a place where we can have good, clean fun and for these people we love!
