Thank you all for helping us make week 1 for the Marston family a success! We are headed into week 2 and continuing to donate a portion of EVERY visit (plus everything in this jar!) directly to Maria’s family to help cover their copays, deductibles, bills, and any other expenses this family faces as they wade through the horrors of childhood cancer.

Today begins TWO WEEKS for MIGHTY MARIA!!!!

A portion of all appointments through the end of July will be donated to the Marston family, who live in Stuarts Draft, for help with care and everyday expenses for their daughter Maria, who is undergoing treatment for cancer at UVA.

NOTHING changes about the cost of your visit! You do not need to mention this fundraiser for the donation to happen! So grab a friend and come on in for your summertime adjustments ahead of a busy school year!

If you feel so led, we do have a jar at the front desk for additional cash/check donations that will go right to the family! (Instructions also listed for digital donation).

While Dr. Andrew is away with Natalie at St. Jude, we have something near and dear to our hearts that we want to share 💛

When the Dodge family first started walking through childhood cancer 4.5 years ago, the surrounding communities rallied in INCREDIBLE ways. Our family talks all the time about how forever indebted we will feel for the generosity shown to us. We could never even begin to pay it back…so we will do our best to pay it forward.

Just a few months ago a little girl in Stuarts Draft was diagnosed with cancer too. Her name is Maria. We know what it feels like to be hit with that ton of bricks…and we know what it feels like to have your community pull you out of the rubble.

✨For the remainder of July, the Dodge family will be donating a portion of every appointment—existing patients and new—to the Marston family to help with Maria’s care and daily needs of the family.✨

It’s that time again…

Every 4 months our daughter Natalie has to go back to St. Jude for scans and check-ups, so our office will be closed July 14-17.

It is that time again! (And if you are reading this post thinking, “AGAIN?!” Don’t worry…we are too!!!)

Most of you have been part of the Valley Family Wellness family for a long time, and we are so grateful for you! You will remember that 4 years ago, Dr. Andrew’s daughter Natalie was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer…and then relapsed…and has been in treatment ever since. She is doing super well on her continued at-home daily oral chemo, but she has to return to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for scans every 3-4 months. Next week is that time!

Our office will be CLOSED Tuesday-Friday next week (March 3-6). That means that TOMORROW and MONDAY are your last chance to book appointments until March 9. There are still a couple of time slots available, but we do expect them to fill up, so be sure to book online if you were planning to get in to see Dr. A!
