This free family support group has helped a lot of local people, and the groups start again this Monday and Wednesday. The program is paid for by the State Opioid Response grant and put on by FRC/Road to Recovery. The groups take place online and are confidential.

“We want to bring it to the frontier towns,” said Nancy Beste, executive director of Mountain Medical Road to Recovery, the Steamboat addiction treatment clinic that will operate the RV for the northwest region.

Three of the vehicles have already begun visiting rural towns where there is no access to medication-assisted treatment for he**in or prescription opioids.
