Make breast self-awareness part of your monthly routine, your hands can be your greatest allies in breast health.

• Adult women of all ages should perform a breast self-exam at least once a month, ideally a few days after your period ends or on the same date each month if you’re post-menopausal.
• Forty percent of breast cancers are first detected by women who feel a new lump.
• Do your exam in the shower, in front of a mirror, and lying down, checking for any lumps, skin changes, or ni**le discharge.
Know what’s normal for you and report any changes to your healthcare provider right away.
