Most of us remember where we were on 9/11. But I also remember so vividly the weekend before.

These scrapbook pages capture that very weekend 25 years ago. It was Harvest Festival, I was a young mom, and on Sunday, three generations of us made homemade grape jelly-with Cayman as the official taste tester.

Two days later, the world changed forever.

Looking back, these ordinary moments feel anything but ordinary. They remind me why presence, connection and community mean so much to me-and why they’re at the heart of what we’re creating at Rise.

Today, we remember. 🤍❤️💙
