Sometimes the most important reminder to schedule your mammogram comes from hearing someone else's story. 💗

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're sharing a message from Cross Timbers Imaging patient Lani Rust about the importance of mammograms and taking care of your breast health.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but taking care of your breast health matters all year long.

Women are often busy taking care of their families, careers, and everyone around them, which can make it easy to put their own appointments at the bottom of the list. This month is a good reminder to move your health back to the top.

Know what’s normal for your body, pay attention to changes, and keep up with the mammogram schedule recommended for you. Routine screening can help detect breast changes early, sometimes before you can feel them.

This incredible team doesn’t just perform mammograms — they care deeply about the women who walk through our doors. From helping patients feel comfortable and at ease to making sure they stay on top of their breast health, our breast team is passionate about what they do every single day. 🩻💗

🌟MEET THE TEAM MONDAY!🌟

Meet Jamie, RT(R)(M), one of our fabulous Mammography Technologist!

Jamie has been an X-ray & Mammography Technologist since 2008 and has been part of the Cross Timbers Imaging family since we opened our mammography department in 2023.

Her favorite part of being a mammography technologist is helping women feel comfortable, confident, and at ease during their mammograms.

Jamie first worked with Dr. Evans as a student in 2007 at Stephenville Hospital, later worked as a technologist at PPGH, and eventually found her way back to work alongside Dr. Evans here at CTI. 🩻

When she’s not taking care of patients, you can find Jamie baking, hunting, or cheering on her kids at their sporting events!

Thank you for helping make CTI a place where our patients feel cared for from the moment they walk through our doors! 🩷

Let’s get to know your Breast Imaging Options!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we want to make sure you know about the breast imaging services available right here at Cross Timbers Imaging!🩷Give us a call to get scheduled: 254-968-8600

We offer several different types of breast imaging, each with an important role in detecting and evaluating breast conditions. Screening recommendations vary based on age, personal history, and individual risk factors. Talk with your healthcare provider about which breast imaging is appropriate for you!

🌸3D SCREENING MAMMOGRAM
Our 3D mammograms provide detailed, layer-by-layer images of breast tissue to help detect breast cancer and other abnormalities as early as possible. 3D Screening Mammograms the month of October are only $150!

🌸CONTRAST-ENHANCED MAMMOGRAM
Combines mammography with IV contrast to provide additional information about areas of concern and can help identify abnormalities that may not be as visible on a standard mammogram.

🌸SCREENING BREAST ULTRASOUND
Uses sound waves to create images of the breast and can help evaluate lumps or areas of concern. It can also be used as additional screening for certain patients. Screening Breast Ultrasounds the month of October are only $175!

🌸BREAST MRI
Provides highly detailed images of the breast and may be recommended for women with a higher risk of breast cancer or when additional imaging is needed.
