Cross Timbers Orthopaedics in Stephenville, Texas is an orthopaedic medical clinic lead by Dr. William Evans.

Cross Timbers Orthopaedics provides a wide variety of treatments. For our children, we treat fractures, sprains, strains, lumps and bumps. For our athletes, we perform shoulder and knee arthroscopy, including ACL reconstruction. For our adults we provide arthritis treatment options ranging from conservative management with therapy, medication, injections and bracing to the latest techniques in hip

, knee and shoulder replacements. CTO also offers evaluation and treatment for osteoporosis with the latest in bone densitometry for our patients and local physicians. When accidents occur, we aggressively treat injuries from hand and wrist fracture fixation to the latest in hip and bone trauma techniques, to get you back to life. Today, we’re introducing Leticia! 💙

Leticia has been an invaluable part of the Cross Timbers Orthopaedics family for 16 years! 🎉 In her role, she helps with patient benefits, surgery and brace pre-authorizations, and coordinating with employers for work disability, FMLA, and workers’ compensation. She works behind the scenes to help make sure our patients have what they need every step of the way.

What she loves most about CTO:
“We have the best team of people who work great together, almost like a family, and everyone cares about getting our patients’ needs met.”

When she’s not at CTO, Leticia enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids play sports, and catching up on her favorite shows!

🌟MEET THE TEAM MONDAY!🌟

Meet Alysia! Alysia is a Medical Technician and NCT who has been an important part of the Cross Timbers Orthopaedics team for 2.5 years.

Alysia does so much to help keep our office running smoothly and is always willing to step in wherever she is needed. Her favorite part of working at CTO is getting to know our patients and hearing their stories. She loves building connections and helping each patient feel comfortable and cared for throughout their time with us.

Outside of work, Alysia loves spending time with her toddler! Whether they’re playing, going on little adventures, or simply enjoying time together, being a mom is her favorite role. 💙

We love having Alysia here and are so thankful for everything she does for our patients and the CTO team!

Meet Courtney, LVN, NCT!

Courtney is an important part of the Cross Timbers Orthopaedics team, serving as our Clinical Manager, LVN, and NCT X-ray Tech. She has been with CTO for an incredible 9 years! 🩺🩻

Her favorite part of working at CTO is caring for our patients, especially our wound care patients. She loves getting to know them on a more personal level and being able to cheer them on as they make progress and heal. 🤍

When she’s not at CTO, Courtney enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and family, and trail riding with her husband in their Jeep!

We are so thankful for Courtney and the care, experience, and dedication she has brought to CTO over the last 9 years! Help us show her some love! 💙

🌟MEET THE TEAM MONDAY!🌟

Meet Hannah! Hannah is a very familiar face around CTO and has been part of our team for the past 4 years! For the past year and a half, she has worked alongside Dr. Evans as his medical scribe and right-hand girl, documenting patient visits, medical histories, exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans while helping keep his busy clinic days running smoothly.

Hannah says her favorite part of working at CTO has been the people she works with and the opportunity to care for our patients. She has loved building relationships with her coworkers and getting to know and care for so many patients throughout her time here.

This Meet the Team Monday is a little bittersweet, as Hannah will be leaving CTO this week to begin an exciting new chapter — PA school this fall! 🎓🩺

After 4 years of being such an important part of our office, Hannah will definitely be missed by our entire team. We are so grateful for all of her hard work, dedication, and the impact she has made on both our patients and our office. While we’re sad to see her go, we couldn’t be more excited for her as she takes this next step toward becoming a Physician Assistant!

🌟Meet the Team Monday🌟

This week, we’re excited to introduce Angela, our Nurse Practitioner at Cross Timbers Orthopaedics!

Angela moved to Stephenville in 2010 to attend Tarleton State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. After spending nearly 10 years caring for patients as a RN, she graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2024 with her Master of Science in Nursing, becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

When asked what drew her to orthopaedics, Angela shared that while pursuing her NP certification, she kept an open mind and knew she wanted to continue serving the people in her community. When the opportunity to join Cross Timbers Orthopaedics, a long-standing and respected practice in Stephenville, presented itself, she took a leap of faith and applied.

What Angela loves most about working at CTO is the incredible support, knowledge, and encouragement she receives from every member of the team. She especially appreciates Dr. Evans for believing in her as a new graduate NP and investing so much time and expertise into helping her grow in her career.

Outside of the office, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to national parks and spending time hiking together.

Giving back is always a great reason to be on the course.⛳️🏌🏻

Today, Dr. Evans teed off in a charity golf tournament, proudly playing in support of his charity of choice, Camp Sweeney. Camp Sweeney is an incredible organization that provides a specialized summer camp experience for children and teens (ages 5–18) living with Type 1 diabetes.

We’re thankful to Collin Thomson with Thomson Services for inviting Dr. Evans to be part of such a meaningful event. It’s an honor to support organizations like Camp Sweeney and help make a positive impact in the lives of so many children and their families.🤍

🌟MEET THE TEAM MONDAY🌟

This week we’re excited to introduce Heather, our Physician Assistant at Cross Timbers Orthopaedics! 💙

Heather has been practicing as a Physician Assistant for nearly six years after graduating from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) PA Program.

At CTO, Heather loves the opportunity to continue learning from Dr. William Evans, whose mentorship has played an important role in her career. She also values being part of a team that is compassionate, supportive, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Although she’s with us one day each week, she says it’s often the highlight of her week because she gets to care for patients alongside such an incredible team.

A fun fact about Heather is that she’s a proud Tarleton State University graduate, and returning to Stephenville gave her the opportunity to give back to the community she loves. Along with caring for patients at CTO, she serves as the Principal Faculty member and Director of Admissions for Tarleton’s Physician Assistant Program, where she is passionate about mentoring the next generation of physician assistants to serve communities across Texas.

We’re so grateful to have Heather on the CTO team. Be sure to say hello when you see her in the office! 💚🏥
