Cove had his 6 month hepatology appointment today! Sometimes no updates are the best updates. We heard all good things, just continuing to monitor his liver with ultrasounds and labs.

Cove has also decided to fast track his career as a doctor. After Dr. B examined Coves belly today, Cove decided he should also examine Dr. Bs belly😂

No medical updates;
Life with Cove lately!
He’s been quite the adventurer: his first movie, first Detroit Tigers game, camping, swimming, zoo trips, fire trucks, water parks, ice cream shops, and big bowls of pho(and discovering he is a chopsticks pro)

Off to the next adventure!☀️🏕️

For those who followed along last week, Cove had ultrasounds for his liver, kidney, and spleen, and a set of labs.

Kidney: Compensating beautifully; excellent function!
Spleen: Still more large than they like to see but did shrink down almost 1cm!
Liver: No changes or surprises!(or like Cove said, his “bili-tree leaves are still green!”)

Nothing like positive reviews from hepatology, immunohematology, and nephrology🙌🏻💚

When this little face tells the ultrasound tech “Are you gonna look at my bili-tree with your camera? It’s ok! My leaves are still green I bet!”😂💚💚
