I have been employed at MediLodge of Sterling for the past 33 years. I look forward to visiting and talking with our new and present residents. They can be really interesting people. I also like our employees; they are really a caring group of people who enjoy their job. Whether its Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry, CNAs, Nurses, or Department Heads, they are all a cool group of people. I've worked in laundry from the beginning and it can be challenging but you are able to complete the job and still have time to visit with the residents while returning their clothes. The residents really enjoy it!

Did you know? Skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes are not quite the same.

Skilled nursing provides physician-directed medical care and rehabilitation after an illness, injury, or surgery. Nursing homes primarily provide ongoing help with daily living.

Skilled nursing stays are often short-term and recovery-focused (though can be ongoing to treat chronic conditions,) while nursing home care is usually long-term.

We offer skilled nursing care, both long and short-term, at all our Medilodge facilities. Reach out to us and schedule a tour to learn more!

🐄🌾 A Day on the Farm! 🌾🐄

Our residents from MediLodge of Sterling enjoyed a wonderful outing to Goodroe Farms, where they had the opportunity to spend time with the farm's gentle dairy cows and experience the peaceful beauty of the countryside.

There’s something truly special about connecting with animals and nature. From watching the cows up close to sharing smiles and stories with one another, the visit brought back cherished memories for many of our residents while creating new ones to treasure. These meaningful experiences promote joy, conversation, and overall well-being, making every outing one to remember.

A heartfelt thank you to Goodroe Farms for welcoming us and providing such a warm and memorable experience. We are grateful for community partners who help make days like this possible!
