Hi Steubenville and Wintersville families! 👋 Navigating therapy options for your child can feel overwhelming, so I wanted to share a little about what makes my solo OT practice different from other local clinics.

While many traditional occupational therapy practices provide fantastic support for building fine motor skills and teaching everyday life tasks, my practice specializes in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI).

🌟 Custom, Play-Based Environment: Instead of structured, table-top tasks, your child leads the way through purposeful, sensory-rich play. I focus on building the foundational brain connections that help kids naturally manage their emotions, focus, and body awareness.

🌟 Specialized Clinical Certification: I have undergone advanced, specialized training in Dr. A. Jean Ayres' gold-standard framework. This means sessions are backed by the neuroscience of how the brain processes and organizes sensory input.

🌟 One-on-One, Consistent Care: Because I run a single-member private practice, your child will always work directly with me. Every session is completely tailored to their unique, day-to-day sensory needs—and families are included in the process every step of the way.

Traditional OT is great for teaching specific skills, but if your child struggles with sensory regulation, body awareness, or motor planning, an authentic ASI approach gets to the root of the challenge.

It’s time to share the big news!!!

I am beyond excited to announce that my practice is moving to a new space designed specifically to better serve my amazing clients and families!

Here are a few of many exciting details about the new practice location:

• Over 1,000 square feet of newly renovated
space

• Larger adult treatment area that incorporates
natural lighting and a relaxing atmosphere

• Overall layout that maintains an open concept,
while keeping treatment areas for children and
adults more distinct

• A custom designed therapy gym for children
that fully supports The Ayres Sensory
Integration® therapy approach, including an
adjoining open area where parents and
families can directly observe their child’s
sessions

• Conveniently located right on Main Street in
Wintersville

The new location will be opening June 1st, only 7 weeks away!
