August 15, 2015 I opened Battleground Training and Rehabilitation. It has been the best business venture I’ve ever created. I’ve gotten to serve my community with flexible payment plans so that my services were available to everyone on any budget. I’ve been able to watch kids in my community grow and graduate from high school, college and trade schools. My own family grew up watching me help others. I’ve been able to find answers, build bridges between clients and their physicians, refer out to appropriate resources and learn a lot professionally. I built long lasting friendships and am ever so thankful to this community for all it has done for myself and my family.
With that being said, I feel it’s an appropriate time to close my doors on my anniversary. This is a great opportunity for myself and Barrett. I didn’t skip a beat when we lost my husband. I kept going, because that’s all I’ve ever known to do. I’m going to take some time to consider my next path and just breathe. I thank every single one of you that has trusted me with your healthcare and that of your families over the years. I truly love and appreciate each of you. You made my life better in so many ways.
