I am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Stillwater, OK. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University (OSU) in 2003, my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from OSU in 2007, and am now considered, in the eyes of college students, a “townie.” I’ve worked for OSU since 2008, specializing in treating college stude

nts with substance use disorders. I’ve maintained a part-time private practice since 2013. I clearly love OSU, but will work with people who don’t “bleed orange.” I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist, Approved Consultant, and Institute for Creative Mindfulness (ICM) Adjunct Faculty. I completed EMDR training in 2014, earned certification in 2018, became an Approved Consultant in 2020, and a trainer in 2021.

The Spring 2026 cohort was one for the books!

I had the honor of training fellow OSU MFT alumni, clinicians who will bring EMDR to first responders across the state, and a dear friend from my undergrad years, plus so many other amazing clinicians. We celebrated birthdays, laughed, cried, learned, built community, and weathered Oklahoma weather together!

To top it all off, I got to train alongside the best training assistants. I’m incredibly grateful for this experience and inspired by the dedication and passion of everyone in this cohort.

I love seeing many of them now in consultation and hearing about the difference they’re already making in the lives of their clients. I can’t wait to see the continued impact they’ll have!

For the first time ever, I’ve had to move a training date because of winter weather.

Part I has been moved from this weekend to next weekend, January 30 to February 1. Because of the date change, I now have two open spots. I’d be happy to fill them back up if you know of anyone who might be interested. Feel free to pass this along.

Part II will be April 24 to 26.

Upon successful completion of part I and part II trainings as well as 10 hours of consultation, you will have completed foundational EMDR training. You can then practice EMDR with your clients (within your scope of practice, of course).
