For those who are believers, remember to keep the cross of Jesus in the midst of the storm.

The story of the small whisper (or "still, small voice") after the storm is found in 1 Kings 19:11-13. The prophet Elijah was hiding in a cave on a mountain, feeling very afraid, tired, and alone after running away from Queen Jezebel.

What Happened on the Mountain-

The Strong Wind: A powerful wind blew so hard it broke rocks apart, but God was not in the wind.

The Earthquake: The ground shook violently, but God was not in the earthquake.

The Fire: A hot fire blazed, but God was not in the fire.

The Gentle Whisper: After the fire, a soft, low whisper or quiet silence came.

The Lesson of the Story:

God is not always in the loud show: Elijah had just seen big, loud miracles from God. But God showed that He also speaks and works in quiet, gentle, and personal ways.

Comfort in hard times: When Elijah was sad and scared, the quiet whisper helped calm his heart and remind him that God was right there with him.

A new plan: After the whisper, God gave Elijah gentle instructions on what to do next and told him he
