✨ Resident Spotlight: Meet Milt M. ✨

Milt has lived a life full of adventure, service, and lifelong learning. An Oklahoma State University graduate in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Journalism, he later earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin and built a remarkable career that included serving in the U.S. Army in Italy, working with the Rockefeller Foundation in Colombia, the Ford Foundation in Chile, and finishing his career as Vice President of Communications at Oklahoma State University.

When asked what he loves most about Legacy Village of Stillwater, Milt said, "It's like a cruise without the seasickness." He appreciates the friendly residents, the fascinating stories everyone has to share, and the caring associates who go above and beyond every day.

His favorite OSU memory? Meeting his wife on a blind date at a FarmHouse Fraternity and Alpha Delta Pi event. The two were matched by height and the rest is history. ❤️

Milt also enjoys historical fiction, especially books by Kenneth Roberts, and lives by the motto:
"Above all costs, avoid boredom!"

Today, we celebrate a remarkable lady and a unforgettable chapter in our community story. Since the day our doors first opened in March of 2020, our Resident Services Director has been the heart behind so much of what makes Legacy feel like home. She has poured her heart and soul into our residents, their families, and every member of our team. Through navigating Covid when we first opened our community to managing numerous occurrences when a building opens… she’s handled it all with love and grace! She’s given countless hugs, had numerous conversations, been a part of celebrations, navigated challenges, and provided many quiet acts of kindness. She has touched more lives than she'll ever know. (Not only for people, but their pets too! 🐈 🐶). Her legacy isn't found in her title—it's found in the smiles, friendships, and lives she has forever changed. Thank you, Debbie, for helping build Legacy into the community it is today. Your impact will continue to be felt long after your last day. Please join us in wishing her a retirement filled with joy, adventure, rest, and every blessing she has earned. ❤️
