📣 Wound Healing Awareness Month 📣

A wound is considered chronic when it fails to heal within the expected timeframe, often due to underlying conditions such as diabetes, poor circulation, pressure injuries, or vascular disease.

⚠️ Warning signs of a chronic wound:
✔️ A wound that hasn’t healed in 4 weeks or more
✔️ Persistent pain, drainage, or odor
✔️ Redness, swelling, or signs of infection
✔️ Skin breakdown that continues to worsen

Early intervention can make all the difference. Advanced wound care treatments, including specialized dressings, debridement, infection management, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), can help promote healing and prevent complications.
