🍫👩‍🍳 Yesterday, our residents put our therapy kitchen to great use by making brownies with our new Rehab Director, Krystal Friend!

Baking is more than just a fun activity—it provides meaningful opportunities to practice fine motor skills, sequencing, following directions, standing tolerance, coordination, and social engagement in a familiar, home-like setting. Our therapy kitchen allows residents to work on functional daily living skills while enjoying an activity they love.

We are excited to welcome Krystal to our therapy team and look forward to creating more purposeful, engaging experiences that support our residents’ independence and well-being. 💚

📚✏️ A little kindness can go a long way. We were so grateful for the opportunity to put together backpacks for the children of our staff as they get ready for a new school year.

Supporting the people who care for our residents every day is something we value, and we’re thankful to be in a position to give back in this small way. We hope these backpacks help each child start the school year with confidence and excitement. Wishing everyone a safe, successful, and happy school year! 💚

The results are in… and we have a tie! 🎉 Congratulations to Vanessa and Chloe for both creating delicious cheesecake treats that impressed everyone!

🦈🌊 Shark Week was a FIN-tastic success! 🌊🦈

A huge shoutout to Misty, our Activity Director, for planning an exciting and action-packed Shark Week for our residents! From Shark Frenzy games and fishing activities to delicious shark-themed treats, there was no shortage of fun throughout the week.

One of the highlights was our jaw-some photo booth, where residents got to pose inside a giant shark's mouth for some unforgettable pictures and plenty of laughs! 📸🦈

We love finding creative ways to bring joy, encourage participation, and make every week something special for our residents. Thank you, Misty, for all the hard work and dedication you put into creating meaningful and memorable experiences for everyone!😊
