🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

If you’ve been around Elder Ridge, you have probably seen these two wandering the halls, making their rounds, and soaking up all the extra attention! 🐶🤎

Our furry friends are more than just cute faces—they bring so much joy and enrichment to our residents, offering companionship, comfort, smiles, and plenty of extra love throughout the day❤️ There’s just something special about the happiness a wagging tail can bring!

They take their jobs very seriously—giving out cuddles, visiting with residents, and, of course, making sure no snack goes unnoticed😋🐾

We’re so thankful for the extra happiness these two bring to Elder Ridge. Happy National Dog Day! 🐕❤️

It’s time to introduce another wonderful member of our Elder Ridge team! Meet Lizzy! 💕

🏡 How long have you been at Elder Ridge? Lizzy has been part of the Elder Ridge family for over 2 years!

☕️ Daily must-have: Coffee or an energy drink!

🌴 If she could live anywhere: Somewhere warm and by the beach!

🐾 Favorite thing to do outside of work: Spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Pearl!

🏀 Fun Fact: Lizzy played basketball in college!

🩺 Something exciting happening in her life: Lizzy is almost finished with school to become a Registered Nurse! 🎓

We’re so thankful to have Lizzy as part of the Elder Ridge family and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her! 💕

This week we are introducing Gracie!

Gracie has been a part of the Elder Ridge family for a year and a half, and we thought it was time for everyone to get to know her a little better!

🌿 Favorite way to start/end her day:
Starting her day with her greens and ending it relaxing in bed.

🌊 If she could live anywhere:
Somewhere warm by the beach!

🛍️ Favorite things to do in her free time:
Shopping and going to the gym.

🐱 Pets:
Her cat, Pickles!

❤️ What reminds her why she became a caregiver:
“Remembering that even the little things I do can make a big difference in someone’s day.”

Gracie’s kind heart and compassion is greatly appreciated around here! Our residents sure do love having her around & we’re so happy to have Gracie as part of our Elder Ridge team! 💕

Nothing brings people together quite like good company, a warm cup of coffee, and a slice of pie! ☕🥧

Our residents spent the morning enjoying delicious treats while getting creative with some fun painting. It’s the little moments filled with laughter, conversation, and creativity that make for the best memories.

What a wonderful way to spend the morning together! 🎨✨

This week we’re introducing Maddy Hawley! 💙

Here’s a little about Maddy:

☕ Favorite way to start the day: A trip to Biggby for her favorite drink!
📺 Favorite way to end the day: Relaxing in bed while watching Netflix
🏔️ Dream place to live: Colorado, because she loves the mountains and hopes to see lots of wildlife
🤸 Hidden talent: She can hold a headstand for a really long time!

📣 Favorite hobby: Cheerleading and spending time with friends
🐶 Pet: A dog named Kado❤️

When asked what helps her through challenging days as a caregiver, Maddy shared:
