I am ALL FOR teaching your family and your children how to safely shoot—but **THIS RIGHT HERE IS UNACCEPTABLE.** 🎯

A father took his young son to the range, and without properly controlling and supervising him, the child fired a round that struck an innocent woman. My heart goes out to her. 🙏🏾 Something that was supposed to be a day at the range turned into a traumatic and completely avoidable situation.

**A firearm is NOT a toy, and the range is NOT a playground.** When you put a firearm in a child’s hands, YOU are responsible for maintaining control, teaching proper muzzle discipline, and making sure they understand every safety rule BEFORE that gun is loaded.

This is exactly why professional training matters. If you want your children or family members to learn how to shoot, **send them to someone trained to teach them safely.**

😒 **HELP ME FIND WHAT’S FUNNY… because I’m disappointed.**

You pointed a **rifle at another person’s stomach MULTIPLE TIMES**… at a gun range… and you’re laughing?! 🤦🏾‍♂️

The range CAN be fun—but the firearm in your hands deserves **RESPECT AT ALL TIMES.** 🎯 Whether that’s her boyfriend, brother, friend, or whoever… nobody should have their life put at risk because somebody thinks basic gun safety is a joke.

🚨 **KEEP. THE. MUZZLE. POINTED. DOWNRANGE.** 🚨
Every gun. Every time. No exceptions.

🚨 LET’S ARGUE ABOUT THIS ONE IN THE COMMENTS…👇🏾👀

This ENTIRE situation could’ve been avoided.

I’m all for knowing your rights and NOT allowing law enforcement to violate them. 💯⚖️ But there’s a BIG difference between **knowing your rights** and making a bad situation DEADLY.

Once this man pulled his gun and exchanged gunfire with police… **HOW DID WE THINK THIS WAS GOING TO END?** 🤦🏾‍♂️🚔🔫

Sometimes being “right” isn’t worth being DEAD.

You can fight an unlawful arrest in COURT. ⚖️ You can file complaints. You can hire an attorney. But you can’t argue your case if you don’t make it home.

🔥 **So here’s the question:**
When dealing with police, is there EVER a point where standing your ground goes too far?
