This year, Chris Nola celebrates 21 years of volunteering with Hospice of San Joaquin. 💛

Chris shares, "Being present around end of life is a privilege. It is just as important as birth."

For more than two decades, Chris has dedicated herself to supporting patients and families, providing compassionate companionship at the bedside. Today, she also assists with Comfort Check-In calls, helping ensure new hospice families have the resources and support they need.

Last weekend we gathered for a relaxing social hour before enjoying a delicious dinner prepared by the Central Valley Men's Club. A heartfelt thank you to our gracious host Jan Featherston, for creating such a welcoming and memorable evening.

Pet therapy is a truly special service. Our sweet therapy dogs and handlers bring gentle comfort, smiles, and companionship to our patients, families, senior centers, schools, care facilities and at community events.

🐾 Every visit is made possible by a volunteer with a tremendous heart for helping others.💖
