💔They talk about Us like we’re supposed to apologize for growing older, Like our beauty has an expiration date stamped by somebody else’s standards.
💔They praise us when we look young, then turn around and shame us when we don’t.
💔They say we’re “trying too hard” if we try to enhance or preserve our looks, and “letting go” if we don’t.
I say , It’s a trap built to keep us questioning our reflection instead of celebrating it.
💔Age shaming women has become a quiet, casual cruelty slipped into jokes, comments, and comparisons that were never meant for our protection. It’s a way this society tries to shrink us just as we’re stepping into our Fullest Power, But we don’t owe anyone “Youth” to be Worthy.
💓We don’t owe anyone softness to be respected, and we don’t owe anyone silence while they try to weaponize our years against us.
A woman naturally aging is not a punchline , it’s a testimony, anyone who tries to shame it is revealing their own discomfort with a beauty that doesn’t need permission to evolve.
💓Aging is not a flaw , it’s a record of survival. Every line, every curve, every shift is proof that we’ve lived, loved, and endured.
We are not competing with our younger selves; we are becoming the women we prayed to be.
The world may not know how to honor that kind of beauty , the kind that deepens instead of fades, But we do.
💓We know that grace doesn’t disappear; it transforms.
💓We know that confidence doesn’t shrink; it matures.
💓We know that a woman’s glow doesn’t just show in her youth , it Rises with time as She Elevates her Truth.
So let them talk.
Let them misunderstand.
Let them reveal their fear every time they try to measures our worth by the lines in our face, and the stretch marks on our bodies, instead of Respecting the Beauty of a Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding that can only be acquired through the experience of time…Because when a woman stands between who she was and who she’s become, she’s not divided , she’s complete.
