What started as a vision to provide compassionate, ethical, and meaningful behavioral support has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined. Over the past decade, KBCS Behavior Services has had the privilege of supporting individuals, families, care teams, providers, and communities throughout California.

From one program to many, from long days to life-changing milestones, every step of this journey has been built on relationships, trust, and the belief that every person deserves dignity, support, and the opportunity to thrive.

Jennifer brings over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with autism and their families. As a Senior Clinical Director in the NPA setting, she has extensive experience developing programs, mentoring clinicians, and helping families build the skills needed for long-term success. Jennifer has been a BCBA for 8 years and is especially passionate about caregiver training, believing that empowering families creates meaningful change that lasts far beyond services.

Jennifer is deeply committed to compassionate, person-centered care and continuously strives to grow both personally and professionally. She has a strong interest in the assessment and reinforcement of precursor behaviors and enjoys collaborating with teams to advance clinical practice and improve outcomes.

Leslie is a behavior analyst with a broad range of experience spanning over 14 years, supporting individuals across school districts, residential programs, and adult behavioral health services. Her work includes leading district-wide positive behavior intervention programs, developing individualized supports for children with autism, directing vocational services for adults with mental health needs, and training staff in enhanced behavioral support homes.

Leslie is known for her strong clinical skillset in assessment, intervention development, staff training, and data-driven decision making. She brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to her work and is passionate about improving outcomes for individuals with diverse needs while helping teams feel confident in the supports they implement.

She is especially committed to culturally responsive care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and advancing ethical, person-centered practices within ABA. Leslie’s work reflects her dedication to improving quality of life through practical, compassionate behavioral support.

Meet Liz Herrera Knapp, MA, BCBA
✨ Founder | Advocate | Community Builder ✨

Liz founded KBCS Behavior Services with a clear purpose: to raise the standard of behavioral consultation while creating a professional home where clinicians can do meaningful work, grow as leaders, and maintain healthy boundaries in a demanding field. With 20 years of experience in behavior analysis, Liz has supported programs across schools, residential and day services, crisis stabilization environments, and multidisciplinary teams. Her work focuses on practical behavior analysis, building systems that work not just on paper, but in the real environments where staff and individuals live and work every day.

Equally important is Liz’s commitment to developing people. She mentors BCBAs and helps clinicians grow into confident leaders who think critically, advocate effectively, and support teams with both skill and humanity. She believes strong organizations are built by investing in people and is passionate about serving as a voice for providers.
Through KBCS, Liz has created an environment where clinicians can do high-level clinical work while building sustainable careers. Her leadership is grounded in mentorship, transparency, accountability, and trust. Today, Liz leads a growing team of BCBAs supporting children and adult programs throughout California.

Adrienne has been working in the field of behavior analysis since 2000, bringing over two decades of experience supporting individuals, families, school districts, and residential care providers. In 2008, she founded and led her own behavioral agency, building strong clinical services rooted in compassion and quality care.

After transitioning from the company she built, Adrienne has continued expanding her impact and is currently completing her doctorate in Counseling Psychology, strengthening her trauma-informed and whole-person approach to behavioral support.
Adrienne is known for her compassion, thoughtfulness, and commitment to social justice. She approaches her work with intention and heart, always advocating for ethical, person-centered care and meaningful outcomes. Her leadership and vision make her a true trailblazer in the field.

With over 20 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, Marie has supported individuals across clinic, school, home, and adult residential settings. Her work includes supporting children with autism and developmental disabilities, as well as adults with mental health diagnoses and severe challenging behaviors.

Marie brings strong leadership experience supervising teams, training staff, and helping programs maintain high-quality, person-centered behavioral services. She is known for her exceptional organization, efficiency, and ability to keep programs running smoothly. Marie is also highly skilled at mentoring RBTs and direct support staff, providing practical training, clear communication, and ongoing coaching that helps teams feel confident and supported.

With over 20 years of experience in behavior analysis, Staci brings a depth of knowledge that comes from supporting individuals across clinics, homes, schools, and residential programs. With more than a decade in leadership roles, she is known for building strong teams and helping programs deliver meaningful, high-quality behavioral services.

Staci brings deep expertise in severe behavior support and leads by example — never afraid to jump in, coach in the moment, and support staff right where the work happens. Her hands-on leadership style and practical clinical approach make her an invaluable resource to both the individuals we serve and the teams supporting them.

Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals of all ages, including those with complex behavioral needs, and has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, public health professionals, mental health clinicians, and psychologists. Her work centers on thoughtful assessment, effective intervention, and strong collaboration to ensure the best possible outcomes.
