With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Christie.

Christie was an integral part of the foundation of our program and a true force in the field of substance use treatment. Over the years, she helped change and save thousands of lives in our community—offering compassion, strength, and unwavering belief in every person’s ability to heal.

After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Christie has left this world, but her legacy continues to live on in every life she touched.

We invite all who knew Christie, loved her, or were impacted by her work to join us for an Open House Celebration of Life. Together, we will honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the incredible impact she made.

💛 Support will be available for those who need it.

Congratulations to our Lotus Rising Community Health Worker graduates! 🎓

Over the past 8 weeks, these graduates have committed themselves to learning how to better serve and support our community. Through this training, they have been equipped with the knowledge and skills to connect individuals to resources, advocate for those in need, provide peer support, and help bridge the gap between community members and vital health and recovery services.

Community Health Workers play such an important role in creating healthier families, stronger communities, and pathways to recovery and hope. We are incredibly proud of each graduate for their dedication, compassion, and willingness to step up and serve others.

Thank you to Keepit Hoggin’ Nonprofit for their generous contribution to our Christmas toy drive. Their organization donated countless gifts to our families this year!

Because of their generosity, children were able to pick out their own Christmas gifts, and parents were able to experience the joy of the season without the weight of guilt or shame when they needed a helping hand. When Lotus Rising started their softball team in April, they didn’t win a single game or score a single run… but this season, they finished undefeated and claimed the title of City Champions! 🏆🥎

What changed? Recovery. Perseverance. Teamwork. This victory is more than a game — it’s a reflection of what happens when people commit to growth, accountability, and showing up for each other, on and off the field.

Every inning was a reminder that transformation takes time, faith, and hard work…and that no matter where you start, you can always RISE!
